Artpop (stylized as ARTPOP) is the upcoming fourth studio album by Lady Gaga, which will be released in 2013 in two volumes. ARTPOP described as a project with an application that was developed and published two albums so far. Recording the album began in 2011 and continued into 2012 when Gaga was on tour promoting "Born This Way". The album will be released in 2013 and the album will drop in the spring of the same year.

Background & Recording
